Custom Nonwoven Handle Bags

Sewn and soft-loop handle bags for retail, gifting, and promotions — the premium reusable tote, built to carry real weight.

A handle bag is the style brands reach for when a bag has to look good and hold up. The handles are sewn or heat-sealed to the body as separate straps, so the load rides on reinforced webbing instead of a hole cut in the fabric. We make them with two grips, flat sewn handles and soft loop handles, both on 70–120 GSM PP with the handle stitched down into the body so it does not rip out at the top. Built for branded retail, boutique packaging, gift bags, and promotional totes, and finished with silkscreen or full-color lamination in your colors.

Because we run fabric, printing, and stitching in-house, we control the handle anchoring and the fabric weight, which are the two things that decide whether a handle bag survives daily use. Flat or gusseted, single-color or photo-quality print, made to your size and load rating.

Soft Loop Handle Bags

The soft loop handle is a wide, comfortable strap of the same nonwoven fabric, heat-sealed or sewn to the bag. It spreads weight across the hand, which makes it the easy pick for boutiques, apparel, and premium retail where a bag gets carried around all day. Because the loop is anchored into the body rather than punched through it, it takes more weight before it gives than a die-cut handle.

Custom Printed Handle Bags with Your Logo

Handle bags are the style most brands print, because the flat panel and premium shape show a logo off well. We add your logo with silkscreen for clean solid colors or full-color lamination for detailed artwork, matched to your Pantone references. The print stays sharp through repeat use, so a well-branded handle bag keeps working as a carry-around ad long after the sale.

Gift and Promotional Handle Bags

For gift packaging and event giveaways, the handle bag does double duty: it looks like a proper shopping bag and it lasts. Retailers use it for boutique and gift wrapping, and brands hand it out at trade shows and launches. A gusseted base lets it stand and hold a boxed gift, and a laminated finish gives it the premium feel a giveaway needs to actually get reused.

FAQs

What is the difference between a loop handle and a die-cut handle bag?

A loop or sewn handle is a separate strap attached to the bag by stitching or heat sealing, anchored down into the body. A die-cut handle is a hole punched in the top of the bag. The sewn or loop handle is stronger and more comfortable, which is why it is the standard for premium retail and gift bags, while die-cut is the budget option for lighter loads.

Can you print our logo and match brand colors on handle bags?

Yes. Handle bags are the style brands print most, and printing is our core service. We use silkscreen for clean solid-color logos and full-color lamination for detailed artwork, matched to your Pantone references. We send a mock-up for approval before production, so the printed sample you sign off on is the bag you receive.

How much weight can a nonwoven handle bag carry?

It depends on the fabric weight and the stitching. A standard handle bag comfortably carries everyday retail loads, and a heavier weight with reinforced stitching takes considerably more. Tell us what the bag needs to hold and we will spec the fabric weight and handle build to match, then confirm it on a sample.

Do you make flat and gusseted handle bags?

Yes. We make both a flat body and a side-gusseted body. Flat handle bags are slim and economical for retail; gusseted handle bags have a square base so they stand on their own and hold boxed or bulky items, which suits gift packaging and premium shopping bags.

What is your minimum order quantity?

Our minimum order is flexible and depends on the style, structure, and printing. We handle smaller trial runs as well as large wholesale volumes, and we can produce a sample before you commit to a bulk order. Send us your style and quantity and we will confirm what works.

Are handle bags reusable and recyclable?

Yes. A nonwoven handle bag can be reused for hundreds of trips, which makes it a practical replacement for single-use plastic. Polypropylene is also recyclable through soft-plastic recycling streams, though not every curbside program accepts it. We build ours on virgin PP, so the fabric and handles hold up through long repeat use.

How to Choose and Spec a Nonwoven Handle Bag

What makes a handle bag different

A handle bag has separate handles, either flat sewn webbing or soft fabric loops, attached to the body by stitching or heat sealing rather than a handle die-cut from the bag itself. That construction is why it carries more, feels more premium, and lasts longer. The handle is the weak point on any bag; on a good handle bag the strap is anchored down into the body or reinforced at the top so it does not tear out. Most retail-grade handle bags run 70–120 GSM spunbond polypropylene.

Soft loop handleSoftest grip, spreads weightBoutiques, apparel, long carry

Choosing GSM for handle bags

For handle bags, GSM drives both durability and the premium feel buyers expect from this style. Around 80 GSM is a solid everyday retail weight; 100–120 GSM gives the thick, structured feel for gift and boutique bags and carries heavier goods; lighter 60–70 GSM suits soft-loop promotional bags where comfort and cost matter more than heavy loads.

How to spec a handle bag that lasts

  • Confirm the handle is sewn or heat-sealed into the body, not just tacked at the top.
  • Ask for the exact GSM and whether the PP is virgin or recycled filler.
  • Match the handle type to how far the bag gets carried: soft loop for long carry, flat sewn for quick retail.
  • Choose gusseted if the contents are boxed or need to stand.
  • Proof your print with real artwork and Pantone codes before the run.

We control fabric, printing, and stitching in-house, so we can set the handle anchoring and fabric weight to your load and hold it consistent across a bulk order. That is the part buyers get wrong when they source on price alone, and it is the reason handle bags come back to us on reorder.
